            Baseball Recap: Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets vs. McComb Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Cory-Rawson lost against McComb on May 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Fighting Hornets lost  17-3 to the Panthers.

  Hank Walters and  Hunter Cosart stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Walters  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run, while  Cosart  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  double,  and one  RBI. Cosart is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.
Cory-Rawson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for McComb, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13-1 record  this season.
 Cory-Rawson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McComb, they will host Leipsic  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
