Helena faced Glacier in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bengals' pitcher stepped up to hand the Wolfpack a 4-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for the Bengals as they're now sitting on eight straight.

The result came thanks to Faith Howard's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 17 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kamryn Klemp, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Keira Campbell, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Helena's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Glacier, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3.
