Wethersfield came tearing into Monday's matchup with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Galva Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Flying Geese, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wethersfield was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14.

Wethersfield's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Galva, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
