Football Recap: Pelham Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pelham extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Friday, dropping them down to 0-8. They were outmatched by the Early County Bobcats and fell 37-0. The Hornets lost against the Bobcats in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 36-22 score last time.

As for Early County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games.

Devonis Lee produced another solid effort rushing for 85 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles.

Pelham wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 35-0 loss against Miller County on the 24th. As for Early County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-30 victory against Mitchell County on the 24th.
