Softball Recap: Juab Wasps vs. Emery Spartans

Juab was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 8-2 defeat at the hands of the Emery Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Juab of the 20-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.

Juab saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Sperry, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

On Emery's side, Kallee Lake was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Lake was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.
