Basketball Recap: Taloga Takes a Loss

Taloga lost against Pioneer-Pleasant Vale back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Taloga Panthers were dealt a 44-12 defeat at the hands of the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taloga's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, they moved to 2-9 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taloga will face off against Corn Bible Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, they will host Waukomis at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Waukomis knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Pioneer-Pleasant Vale likes a good challenge.
