Volleyball Game Preview: New Washington Mustangs vs. Borden Braves

The New Washington Mustangs will square off against the Borden Braves at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Borden took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on New Washington, who comes in off a win.

New Washington saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Clarksville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

New Washington easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.

Borden had taken Orleans down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Braves fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs.

The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 25-21, 25-14.

Borden dropped their record down to 17-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for New Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 10-20.

New Washington might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Borden in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
