Basketball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley lost against Michigan Lutheran back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The River Valley Mustangs took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Michigan Lutheran Titans.

Isaiah Howe had a dynamite game for Michigan Lutheran, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 boards. That's the most rebounds Howe has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Connor Olson, who posted 14 points and seven boards.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Michigan Lutheran, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

River Valley will challenge Countryside Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Michigan Lutheran, they will take on Covert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Michigan Lutheran is facing Covert at the right time seeing as Covert is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
