Basketball Recap: Tipton Blue Devils vs. Logansport Berries
Tipton had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 3-3 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 55-53 victory from a begrudging Blue Devils squad. That result was just more of the same for these two, as they also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

Peyton Auler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 53% from the field on his way to 24 points. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high. Grayson McFalls was another key player, putting up ten points and seven boards.
Having lost for the first time this season, Logansport fell to 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since February 21st.
Several Berries players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eli Baldwin, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Baldwin has been hot, having posted 16 or more points the last five times he's played. Logan Lange also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
Tipton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fort Wayne South Side at 12:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Logansport, they have already played their next contest, a 74-60 victory against Maconaquah on the 20th.
