Baseball Recap: Fort Zumwalt East Comes Up Short

The Fort Zumwalt East Lions came up short against the Camdenton Lakers on Friday and fell 9-4.

Tyler Kliethermes was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Jackson Bingham also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Fort Zumwalt East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Camdenton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Fort Zumwalt East has already played their next match, an 11-10 loss against Boonville on the 28th. As for Camdenton, they will take on McDonald County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
