Basketball Recap: Fryeburg Gets the Win

Fryeburg posted their closest victory since January 15th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Westbrook Blue Blazes, sneaking past 54-51. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 41-31 loss the last time these two teams met.

Fryeburg's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Westbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Fryeburg will be playing at home against Biddeford at 4:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Westbrook will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Kennebunk at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
