Softball Recap: Donna Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Donna's offense. They came up short against the La Feria Lions on Thursday, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Redskins were not able to get on the board.

Donna saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Briana Jimenez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Donna's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for La Feria, their record now sits at 6-2.

Coincidentally, Donna and La Feria will both be playing Rio Hondo the next time they take the field. The Redskins will host the Bobcats at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
