Volleyball Recap: Jenna Jackson Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat East Bladen + How To Watch

Clinton won the last time they faced East Bladen and things went their way on Monday too. The Dark Horses blew past the Eagles 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Dark Horses have posted against the Eagles since September 23, 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-16.

Clinton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jenna Jackson, who had 18 assists and six aces. Those six aces gave Jackson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Pheonix Everett, who had eight digs, seven kills, and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Clinton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Clinton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for East Bladen, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Clinton will venture away from home to face off against Eastern Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Bladen, they will host West Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
