Waterloo won the last time they faced Covenant Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 5-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Waterloo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clara Lambert, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Sarah Allen also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Waterloo's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Covenant Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterloo will take on Wilson in a tournament on Thursday. As for Covenant Christian, they will take on Athens Bible at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
