 Hamilton put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Lakewood Vikings by a score of  10-7.
  Kelsey Mersman was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and six unearned) runs off   nine  hits (and only one walk). Mersman was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-5.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Savanna Eding, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.  Julia Brown was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Hamilton's victory was  their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Lakewood, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
 Hamilton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  10-0  defeat vs. Reeths-Puffer on the 20th. As for Lakewood, they will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Portland at 4:00  p.m.
