Baseball Recap: Central Private Comes Up Short

Central Private was the 7-3 winner over St. Michael when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Central Private fell just short of St. Michael by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Redhawks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Warriors since on Friday.

Central Private has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. St. Michael moved to 8-13 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

While Central Private had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
