Basketball Recap: Baylor Takes a Loss

Baylor lost against Webb two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Baylor Red Raiders lost to the Webb Spartans at home by a 60-44 margin. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Spartans are ranked second).

Baylor's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Webb, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baylor will welcome Hamilton Heights Christian Academy on Friday. Hamilton Heights Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Baylor likes a good challenge. Webb has already played their next game (against Knoxville Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
