La Villa lost to Kaufer back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Seahawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: La Villa took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-15.

Emma Valenzuela and Caroline Russek certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Valenzuela had five kills, three digs, two aces, and one block, while Russek had 12 assists and two aces. Valenzuela is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

La Villa's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Kaufer, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Villa will take on Harvest Christian at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kaufer, they will venture away from home to face off against Santa Maria at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
