Basketball Recap: Bishop Carroll Takes a Loss

After flying high against West last Friday, Bishop Carroll came back down to earth. The Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders. The Golden Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 58-50.

Bishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record this season.

Bishop Carroll and Kapaun Mt. Carmel should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Bishop Carroll (ranked 71st) will meet Northwest (ranked 284th) on Friday. Bishop Carroll is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Meanwhile, Kapaun Mt. Carmel will challenge West on Friday up 274 places (59 vs. 333).
