Recap: Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix vs. Cross Trojans

The Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix lost against the Cross Trojans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Palmetto Scholars Academy was dealt a 71-38 loss at the hands of Cross. Palmetto Scholars Academy has not had much luck with Cross recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Leading Cross to victory were Caden Ramsey and Jamez Way. Ramsey scored 18 points along with three steals, while Way scored 15 points along with six assists and three steals. Way is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Middleton, who scored eight points.

Palmetto Scholars Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Cross, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmetto Scholars Academy will take on Lowcountry Leadership at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palmetto Scholars Academy is facing Lowcountry Leadership at the right time seeing as Lowcountry Leadership is stuck on a 22-game losing streak. As for Cross, they will head out on the road to challenge St. John's at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cross has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 671 points over their last ten matches.
