Baseball Game Preview: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves vs. El Segundo Eagles

For the second straight game, Wiseburn- Da Vinci will face off against El Segundo. The Wolves will host the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Wiseburn- Da Vinci is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci lost a heartbreaker the last time they played El Segundo, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's game. The Wolves blew past the Eagles 11-5 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wolves needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The team relied heavily on Edward Sanchez, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Lonnie Jackson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Sanchez wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Wiseburn- Da Vinci kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The Wolves are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

El Segundo moved to 12-3-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.
