Softball Recap: Clay Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clay can now relate to. They lost 10-1 to the Arnold Marlins on Wednesday.

Clay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaelye Rouw, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Clay has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season. As for Arnold, their win bumped their record up to 18-8.

Clay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arnold, they will square off against Baker County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Marlins surely won't give up without a fight.
