Yucaipa has gone a perfect 10-0 against Redlands recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds will square off against the Terriers at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Yucaipa and Redlands East Valley have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Thunderbirds took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Logan Pashman was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March.

At the plate, Landyn Von Kaenel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Nathan Reyes also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Redlands fell victim to Cajon and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Cowboys, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Terriers in their meetings with the Cowboys: they've now lost five in a row.

Yucaipa's record now sits at 14-9. As for Redlands, their record is now 8-12.

Yucaipa beat Redlands 7-2 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbirds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
