Baseball Game Preview: Valley Head Tigers vs. Skyline Vikings

For the second straight game, Valley Head will face off against Skyline. The Tigers will host the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Valley Head came up short against Skyline and fell 9-4. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Head saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs. Johnson has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Skyline, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Valley Head, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
