Softball Recap: Chesapeake Comes Up Short

Chesapeake fell victim to Leonardtown and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Chesapeake's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Leonardtown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coming up, Chesapeake will take on North County at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leonardtown, they will be taking part in a tournament against Archbishop Spalding at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
