Football Recap: Lewisville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lewisville played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 52-13 loss at the hands of the Andrew Jackson Volunteers. The Lions were down 38-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

When it comes to explaining why Lewisville lost, don't look at Jacorreun Howze. Despite the final result, he rushed for 115 yards and three TDs.

Andrew Jackson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Damias Seegars, who rushed for 33 yards and a pair of scores. Jvon Kelly helped out on the ground, rushing for 84 yards.

Lewisville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Andrew Jackson, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewisville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on C.A. Johnson at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. The game will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Andrew Jackson, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fairfield Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
