Mountain Crest extended their postseason success on Monday against Sky View. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bobcats 2-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-1 win back in September.

Abby Thatcher and Brynn Spackman certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Thatcher had 16 digs and four assists, while Spackman had eight digs and three aces. Thatcher has been hot, having posted 16 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Mountain Crest's victory bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Sky View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-14.

Coming up, Mountain Crest will square off against Cedar at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Sky View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
