Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Memorial Takes a Loss

Wakefield Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Arlington Spy Ponders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spy Ponders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-6.

Wakefield Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Wakefield Memorial will host KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arlington, they will square off against Everett at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
