It's playoff time, and Shakamak had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cloverdale Clovers a 6-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Lakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

Shakamak is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Cloverdale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
