Irvine and Woodbridge squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Irvine had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Vaqueros' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Irvine's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Woodbridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Irvine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodbridge, they will face off against Thousand Oaks at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
