Basketball Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

Sequoyah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 55-41 bruising from the Loudon Redskins. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-35 back in December of 2024.

Sequoyah's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Loudon, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-9.

Sequoyah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-27 defeat against Rhea County on the 3rd. As for Loudon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South-Doyle at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
