Softball Recap: J.L. Mann Comes Up Short

J.L. Mann was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-0 to the Woodmont Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in March.

J.L. Mann's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Woodmont, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. J.L. Mann will face off against Woodruff at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodmont, they will square off against T.L. Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
