Soccer Recap: South Bend Saint Joseph Takes a Loss

South Bend Saint Joseph was the 4-0 winner over Northridge when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

South Bend Saint Joseph has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Northridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-2.

South Bend Saint Joseph didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Munster on the 20th. As for Northridge, they will challenge Wawasee at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Northridge will be up against Wawasee's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.82 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
