Platte County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Chrisman recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pirates will challenge the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Platte County will be strutting in after a victory while Chrisman will be coming in after a defeat.

Platte County had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Raytown on Tuesday. The Pirates put the hurt on the Bluejays with a sharp 3-0 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Bluejays recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Platte County's got stronger as the match went on, holding Raytown to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Chrisman came up short against Grain Valley on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-3, 25-13, 25-5.

Chrisman's loss dropped their record down to 13-16-1. As for Platte County, their win bumped their record up to 16-9-2.

Everything went Platte County's way against Chrisman in their previous matchup back in September, as Platte County made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
