Soccer Game Preview: Everglades vs. South Broward

The Everglades Gators will take on the South Broward Bulldogs in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at. South Broward took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Everglades, who comes in off a win.

Last Wednesday, everything went Everglades' way against Monarch as Everglades made off with a 5-2 victory. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Monarch with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gianna Hadley (2), Meilani Murillo (2), and Keily Bustamante.

Meanwhile, South Broward entered their contest against Flanagan on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. South Broward came up short against Flanagan, falling 4-1. The loss put an end to the Bulldogs' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Broward fell to 6-1-1. As for Everglades, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Everything went Everglades' way against South Broward in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, as Everglades made off with a 5-1 victory. Will Everglades repeat their success, or does South Broward have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
