The University Trailblazers will head out to challenge the Hamilton Heights Huskies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. University will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
University's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over Seton Catholic. The victory continues a trend for the Trailblazers in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won eight in a row.

Charlie Ranek was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. He has become a key player for University: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. Cooper Burnett also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: University kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hamilton Heights, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Lawrence Central by a score of 8-5 on Thursday.
Cy Mason looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Josh Newton was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted over his last ten games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Micheal, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Hamilton Heights pushed their record up to 6-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for University, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Hamilton Heights' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: University has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .437.
