Windsor and Franklin are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Dukes will take on the Broncos at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Windsor will be strutting in after a win while Franklin will be coming in after a defeat.

Windsor is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Sussex Central 10-0 on Monday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Windsor considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Franklin fell victim to King's Fork and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Bulldogs. The loss continues a trend for Franklin in their meetings with King's Fork: they've now lost three in a row.

The victory snapped Windsor's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Everything went Windsor's way against Franklin when the teams last played back in March, as Windsor made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dukes since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
