Softball Recap: Holmes Huskies vs. Sotomayor WILDCATS

Holmes extended their losing streak to 12 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-12. They lost 14-4 to the Sotomayor WILDCATS. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the WILDCATS apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

As for Sotomayor, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games.
