Baseball Recap: Bartow Takes a Loss

Bartow came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the IMG Academy Royal Ascenders by a score of 7-5 on Friday. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bartow's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for IMG Academy Royal, the win (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Coming up, Bartow will head out to square off against Manatee at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for IMG Academy Royal, they will host Canterbury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
