Volleyball Recap: Brookfield Comes Up Short

Brookfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop LeBlond Eagles. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bishop LeBlond, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coming up, Brookfield will be playing at home against Carrollton at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop LeBlond, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Chillicothe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
