Softball Recap: Lemoore Plays to a Tie

Lemoore saw some tournament action on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Orcutt Academy Spartans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Isabelle Hendrickson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Lemoore's draw makes their record 3-14-1 this season. Meanwhile, Orcutt Academy's record is now 7-8-1.

Lemoore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-7 defeat against Atascadero on the 15th. As for Orcutt Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Golden West on the 15th.
