Recap: Lincoln Golden Lions vs. Upper Arlington Golden Bears
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Lincoln Golden Lions can now relate to. They fell to Upper Arlington 12-7. Lincoln's loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed ten in total. All those points came courtesy of Edward Oakley: he added 12 points with four field goals.
Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 12-1. As for Upper Arlington, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Upper Arlington will head out on the road to face off against Hilliard Bradley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hilliard Bradley will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
