Baseball Recap: Sasakwa Comes Up Short

Sasakwa fell victim to Coalgate and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sasakwa saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Darius Henderson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Sasakwa moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Coalgate, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Sasakwa will take on New Lima at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coalgate, they will challenge Achille at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
