Basketball Game Preview: Pontiac Indians vs. Monticello Sages

Pontiac and Monticello are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Pontiac Indians will be playing at home against the Monticello Sages at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pontiac is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Pontiac came up short against New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly and fell 52-45.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Monticello's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell to Athens 53-48.

Pontiac's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Monticello, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.

Pontiac beat Monticello 42-30 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Will Pontiac repeat their success, or does Monticello have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
