Soccer Game Preview: Yuma vs. Dysart

The Yuma Criminals will take on the Dysart Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Yuma is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 5-2 margin over Coronado on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Criminals needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, Dysart had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Golden Hawks as they made off with a 6-1 victory. It was an even better day for Jennifer Rocha as she scored three goals for her team.

Dysart's win bumped their record up to 5-8-1. As for Yuma, their victory bumped their record up to 2-12.

Yuma might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Dysart in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. Can Yuma avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
