Soccer Recap: Lewis-Palmer Comes Up Short

Lewis-Palmer's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Erie Tigers by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Lewis-Palmer have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Cheyenne Brian, which was the first she's scored this season.

Lewis-Palmer is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3-2. As for Erie, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-0-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewis-Palmer will head out to challenge Discovery Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lewis-Palmer are facing Discovery Canyon at the right time seeing as Discovery Canyon are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Erie, they are taking a road trip to face off against Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Legacy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Erie surely won't give up without a fight.
