Recap: Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons vs. Weaver Beavers

This season hasn't been kind to the Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons, who are still winless after their ninth game. They were outmatched by Weaver at home and fell 69-40. Metropolitan Learning Center has struggled against the Beavers recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Weaver's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shaheim Wilson, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Madden Cupe was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five assists and four steals.

Metropolitan Learning Center dropped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Weaver, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

As for Weaver, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. University will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Beavers are ranked 50th).
