Baseball Game Preview: Radnor Raptors vs. Penncrest Lions

The Radnor Raptors will head out on the road to face off against the Penncrest Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Radnor's pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so Penncrest's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Penncrest will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Radnor extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Raptors came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Springfield.

Meanwhile, Penncrest fell victim to Garnet Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 8-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Penncrest got a good showing from Zach Mullin, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Mullin has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

Penncrest's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Radnor, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
