Basketball Game Preview: Kansas Comets vs. Adair Warriors

The Kansas Comets will square off against the Adair Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kansas will be strutting in after a victory while Adair will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Kansas beat Vinita 44-33. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Hornets are ranked 384th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Adair scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to Locust Grove 77-71. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Having lost for the first time this season, Adair fell to 5-1. As for Kansas, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Kansas was able to grind out a solid victory over Adair in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 50-41. Does Kansas have another victory up their sleeve, or will Adair turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
