Darreus Rogers picks USC

The University of Southern California has received a commitment from Carson (Calif.) wide receiver Darreus Rogers, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder is highly regarded following a big junior year during which he made 45 catches for 1,347 yards and eight touchdowns.

Rogers posted more than 100 yards in seven different games. He made eight catches for 193 yards and one touchdown during a 42-21 loss to powerful Mission Viejo (Calif.) and he also speared three touchdown passes during a 40-27 victory over Miller (Fontana, Calif.).
